Kinesiology Scholarships
Scholarships are available for Kinesiology students who are in financial need. Students will apply through AcademicWorks after creating a general application. These scholarships are available per academic year and available to apply each Spring semester.
Undergraduate Scholarship
- Amount: up to one semester tuition fee
- Application: Spring semester
- Concentration: Physical Education
- This scholarship is intended for SF State senior, Kinesiology major, with a concentration in Physical Education who plan to enter the California Teacher Credential Program (CTCP) in P.E. and who demonstrate a strong commitment to improving the lives of young individuals.

- Concentration: Physical Education
- This scholarship is intended to award outstanding student athletes on the basis of the scholarship, SFSU athlete participation at a high level of quality, and leadership potential.

- This scholarship is intended to provide financial assistance to full-time junior or senior majoring in Kinesiology with the goal of teaching or coaching

- This scholarship is intended for full-time undergraduate Kinesiology majors, competitively awarded on the basis of scholarship and financial need.
- Amount: up to $1,000

- Concentration: All concentrations
- This fund benefits other promising, hardworking Kinesiology students like Kasey Miller whose completion of their undergraduate degree may be hindered by financial challenges.

- In honor of Allen Abraham, alumnus of the Kinesiology Department and SF State’s wrestling coach, this scholarship is intended to support full-time undergraduate Kinesiology major and student athlete. Priority will be given to students from Central Valley California.
Graduate Scholarships
- Amount: up to $1,000
- Application: Spring semester
- Emphasis: All emphases
- This scholarship is intended to provide financial assistance to full-time and part-time Kinesiology graduate students on the basis of the scholarship, financial need and service to the department.
