Exercise is Medicine on Campus
Exercise is Medicine on Campus (EIM-OC) at SF State aims to increase awareness about the holistic benefits (cognitive, emotional, physical) of physical activity to the student body. The organization is committed to providing educational information and events that include non-invasive physical composition assessments, and campus/community resources to begin/remain physically active. Additionally the organization stands to promote healthy behavior changes in students and recognize behaviors that lead to chronic diseases.
Technology in Kinesiology & Health Research Symposium
The symposium will take place Thursday, October 5th from 11:00am-1:45pm at the J. Paul Leonard Library: LIB 121 (first floor Events Room).
EIM at SF State aims to supply the student body with opportunities and knowledge that will help better their future and impact the community in a positive manner. If you are interested in research, either as a consumer or are looking to do some of your own in the future, this symposium is for you. A great opportunity to connect with peers and brainstorm research questions amongst the kinesiology community. Potentially, an opportunity to make connections and get an idea of what a PhD program can do for you.
Food and beverages will be offered to those who attend, while supplies last.
