Leia B Bagesteiro
Dr. Leia Bernardi Bagesteiro is an Associate Professor in the Department of Kinesiology. The focus of her research and academic training has been the biomechanics and motor control of human movement. She has previous training as a Biomedical Engineer, which lends a technical/practical perspective to her research and teaching. Her research interests have broadly focused on human movement by designing and conducting biomechanical experiments analyzing kinematics, kinetics, and electrophysiology data, and its importance for function and performance on movement control and coordination.
