100 Citizens

100 Citizens is a FREE exercise program provided to San Francisco’s communities by kinesiology student volunteers. The program utilizes our student’s knowledge gained from their kinesiology coursework to provide our citizens with quality exercise from developing professionals. This program aims to help citizens in underserved communities meet or exceed the CDC’s minimum recommendation for physical activity, 150 minutes of moderate to vigorous physical activity per week. While students can give back to their communities they can practice other practical skills such as public speaking, teaching movement, and communication. This also provides students with a chance to put the theories learned in coursework into practice. We work closely with students, faculty and San Francisco Recreation and Parks to get San Francisco Moving!
